“Years ago my daughter was asked to play a fiddle song at a small, rural community celebration. At the conclusion of the short program the local old-timers band ask her to join with them. I was surprised she consented without prior practice but this impromptu music warmed my soul. It was genuine country fiddle music at its best— crossing three generations. A reminder that music has little to do with age and everything to do with heart and soul.”
